Camp.........

My daughter Courtney left this morning at 6:45 for Rushville, Illinois for Church Camp (Summer Scream). She will be gone until Friday, they will return around 7:30-8:00 that night. I am sitting here waiting for her to call me or text even. I guess she's having so much fun that we can wait. I really hope that she is enjoying herself. And that she makes all kinds of friends, by looking at her schedule for all 4 days, they will be doing something on every hour of the day. She took her camera, so I hope she takes a lot of pictures. She will post them on her blog (Courtney's Journal) the link is in MY BLOGS section to the right. I am glad that she is doing this, I think this will help her with some issues that she deals with every day. I Love You Patricia, God Bless and Be Safe.

Mollie's blanket and giraffe doll

This is a stroller blanket that I made for Mollie, I will have to find the pattern to let you know where I found it. I will also let you know what size hook and what size yarn I used.

This is a giraffe that I made for my niece Mollie, I got the pattern from Lion Brand Company.

FAT BOTTOM BAG

This is my Fat Bottom Bag that I made, it took me 2 weeks to complete. I used a darker color fabric for the inside. I used the K size hook and 4ply yarn in a tan color. I enjoyed making this project, I will probably make another one in a different color because my daughter doesn't like this one. So I might make her one in a color she likes. If she wants one that is.

Summer so far......

Well summer so far has been pretty cool, my husband, daughter and I have gone to the Louisville Zoo. And in a couple of weeks we will be going to Laurel Lake that's in Harned County, it will take us 2 hours to get there. When we get back I will hopefully be able to post some good pictures that we take. My daughter's camera is broke so our phones will be the only source, unless my sister brings hers. There will be a total of eight of us going. This will the first vacation that we will be away from home for a few days, 3 nights and 4 days.

My husband and my dad are going to be fishing the whole time we are down there, us girls are probably just going to sit around and talk but I know that I will be reading and working on my crocheting. I am working on a blanket for my cousin she is almost 3 months pregnant with her second baby. When I have pictures I will post them as well.

My husband caught this fishing......

My husband and I went fishing at our local park (Butler State Park) and this is what he caught. When Billy caught him the hook had went all the way through his jaw, just by luck there was another man there with a pair of pliers, they had to snip the hook to get it out of the turtles mouth. He was okay after that, we set him free back in the water.

This is the whole outfit that I have made for my niece Mollie for the baby contest at the Carroll County Fair, the only problem that I had run into is that her sandals are to small, so I am having to make her another pair.

Part of an outfit for my niece Mollie.....

I am making an outfit for my niece Mollie for the baby contest on June 11th. I have already made her hat and bikini top. I am now making her a pair of boy short bottoms so it can cover her diaper and if I have time I am going to make her a pair of sandals to match. Once I have the other to items made I will post them. When I get some pictures of her with the outfit on, I will post them also.
